When asked why she believes the Philippines remains worth representing globally, Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Top 7 finalist Bea Millan‑Windorski of La Union reflected on growing up in a largely non‑diverse community in the United States, where she was often identified first as Filipina.

She recalled, “The Philippines is something and a place that I've been in love with my whole life. Growing up in a predominantly non-diverse part of the United States, I was identified as Filipina first and foremost. I often had to point where the Philippines was on a map to my peers and I always felt a sense of belonging and home. I chose to pack my life into balikbayan boxes and suitcases because I believe in the limitless potential of the Filipino people and the fact that we need to create local opportunities here so that people don't have to go abroad and be separated from their families in order to survive and thrive.”

#MUPH2026 #PEPCoverage #PEPNews #entertainmentnewsph #PEPVideo #PEPKhym

Subscribe to our YouTube channel! https://www.youtube.com/@pep_tv

Read the latest in showbiz at http://www.pep.ph

Watch more videos at https://www.pep.ph/videos

Follow us!
Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/pepalerts/.
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pepalerts/
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/PEPalerts
Twitter: https://twitter.com/pepalerts
Viber: https://bit.ly/PEPonViber
Kumu: pep.ph

Visit our DailyMotion channel! https://www.dailymotion.com/PEPalerts
